Cabrillo Digital Bridge Academy

The Digital Bridge Academy is a highly innovative program designed explicitly to help accelerate the readiness of students who are “under-prepared” for college in any number of ways (including “at-risk” students, who make up sometimes over 90% of the student population). Amazingly, the Academy does this not in years, but in only one semester! The DBA offers a carefully sequenced training program of academic support, instruction on how to grow in self-knowledge and self-discipline, work experience, and student support to prepare students for success in careers with a future. These careers are in: Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management, Allied Health majors (Nursing, Radiology, Dental Hygiene, etc.,) lab technician careers (Biotechnology, Marine Science), Criminal Justice, Teaching, and other high-wage or high-demand fields. http://www.cabrillo.edu/academics/wdba
